How to Add Images

Learning can improve by over 400 percent with the addition of visual aids, which are processed 60,000 times faster than text. That is why adding images to your videos is one of the top 10 best practices for video success.

In Mindstamp, you can add clickable images to your interactive videos that can open full size or drive action. Using relevant multi-media, such as images, is a simple way to catch your viewer’s attention, provide additional information, and can also function as a CTA.

Mindstamp allows you to make images within your video interactive for your viewer. This means you can make your images clickable and then choose what will happen when a viewer clicks on the image.

Click actions include:
1. Pausing the video so the image can open full size

2. Displaying a message

3. Opening a URL link

4. Moving the viewer to a different part within the existing video

5. Playing a video or audio clip

6. Taking the viewer to another video.

Here’s how to add an interactive image to your interactive video in Mindstamp:

Step 1: To start adding interactive features to your videos, upload or link your existing video to Mindstamp’s interactive video platform. Check out this tutorial for more information on how to upload your video to Mindstamp.

Step 2: Click ‘Add Image’ - You can import an image that’s already in your Mindstamp library, add a new image, or enter an image URL. You can resize and move the image around your video.

Step 3: Once the image is added, you can choose to add a label, when the image will show up and disappear from the screen, as well as a variety of click actions. In this example, we’ll choose the action to display a message when the image is clicked.

Choose ‘Show Message’ and add what you want to be displayed under ‘Message to Show’.

Step 4: Click ‘Save’ to see the interactive image feature in action.
